ZEYNEP KAYAN

Born in Ankara, 1986. After graduating from Department of Communication and Design, Bilkent University, she received an M.A. degree on Fine Arts from maHKU, Netherlands. She has exhibited her works in group shows both in Turkey and Holland. Her works also published in books and magazines including Geniş Açı Photography Magazine, Ruby Mag, Rotterdam Dialogues: The Artists, The Critics, The Curators, Six Years Later.
Her photography and video works constantly seek for creating the new from the old; a repetitive act of production in other words, construction through ways of deconstruction. Her challenge and inspiration depend on not letting the imagery stay in one and only state; and searching for ways of displaying that multiplicity.
