The Residency Programme is located in Bodrum, at a historical and geographical crossroad for this region. Besides being a touristic destination, the peninsula of Bodrum, or the ancient city of Halicarnassos, is an inspiring archaeological site at the meeting point of the Mediterranean and Aegean seas with remains of Greek, Lydian and Lelegian civilizations dating back to 1100 BC. Offering the perfect seclusion in greenery and calm, Bodrum has attracted artists as a living and working space for many decades. The peninsula has a strong artistic culture further developed with a number of festivals and cultural activities organized thoughout the season.

Located in the ancient fishermen's village of Torba, our institution attracts a great number of art lovers, artists, curators and collectors throughout the summer and provides the perfect setting for both working in a secluded, green environment and networking.
